Coming from an agency background, I’m ever aware of the continued diligence required to maintain a positive and energetic production experience for both agency and client from beginning to end. After all, a well planned and executed production allows for the concept to shine brightest, and in turn onto all those who worked so diligently to bring it to life. Having been born in Puerto Rico and growing up the son of a U.S. Army Colonel, I was fortunate to travel the world extensively. Doing so helped me develop an understanding of diverse peoples and cultures which in turn instilled in me a passion for understanding what makes us individually unique, yet all the same. With a degree in copywriting from Virginia Commonwealth University and certificates in art direction and design from Miami Ad School/The Portfolio Center, my fascination with communications evolved into a love of brand storytelling across all media. This further led me to focus on directing as the bridge that marries the moving image and the limitless storytelling potential of social and digital content. I pride myself on being a people person whose bilingual abilities–English and Spanish–come into play the more our country’s cultural landscape evolves. Making the leap from Creative Director to Director lends itself to understanding how to bring together dialogue, visuals, and an eye for captivating audiences through storytelling which entertains and also sells. On a personal note, there is never a dull moment for my wife of 24 years and I, with our eight incredible children. "The joy of children makes their parents’ hearts leap and opens up the future." –Pope Francis My hobbies include outdoor actives with my family, Scouting, coaching a girls club soccer team and Ironman competitions.
